Lei’s posts have also revealed that the 6.44-inch Mi Max will be a dual-SIM device (hybrid design) with microSD slot (128 GB limit).
In one of the earlier pictures put out by Lei, we got a glimpse at the side-profile of Mi Max in gold colour variant. For a phablet, the device looked extremely sleek. Based on the new set of photos, it looks like a pink version of Mi Max might also be launched.
Mi Max was also spotted on TENAA, China’s certification authority, which revealed its pictures and specifications. Xiaomi had earlier given a quick glimpse of the Mi Max on its Weibo page, where the phone is seen inside a jeans pocket.
Based on the pictures that we’ve seen, Mi Max has a metal unibody with 3D Glass design, similar to Mi 5. While the camera and the flash are placed on the top left corner at the back, the fingerprint scanner can be seen in the centre.
According to leaks, Mi Max will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, a 16 megapixel primary camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. Xiaomi is expected to launch the phablet in two variants – 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM. Xiaomi Mi Max will come with a large 4000 mAh battery.
We’ll have to wait and see what Xiaomi reveals tomorrow.
