Samsung launches 44 new TV models in India, price starts at Rs 27,990
Samsung today launched a total of 44 new TV models in the Indian market. The South Korean electronics giant also introduced the Quantum Dot display technology that aims to transform the TV viewing experience.
The new TVs from Samsung brings an integrated content and services platform where consumers will be able to switch seamlessly between OTT content, live TV as well as other connected devices including video game consoles, Blu-ray player and set-top-boxes.Read more ↓
The 2016 TV line-up comprises of SUHD TV range in the premium segment, Smart TV range in the mid segment and Joy Beat range in the affordable segment. The SUHD TV line-up was first introduced in February at Samsung Forum (2016) in Kuala Lumpur.
The new SUHD TVs comes with Quantum Dot Display that offers HDR 1000 technology to delivers better colour reproduction, brightness, contrast and details. The SUHD TV series is touted as the world’s first bezel-less curved design television.
The SUHD TV range will be available in the sizes 49-inch to 88-inch screen sizes. Prices range from Rs 1,79,900 to 23,99,900.
Coming on to the new range of Smart and Joy Beat televisions, the TV sets will come with a host of innovative features designed for Indian consumers.
The new features include Smart Interface, Smart Content, Smart Convergence and Smart Play to enhance the TV viewing experience.
Samsung’s Smart TV range will be available in 32-inch to 78-inch screen sizes with a price range of Rs 34,500 to Rs 7,03,900.
On the other hand, the Joy Beat range brings a retro design and features an integrated sound station with built-in tweeters to offer a loud and crisp audio.
The Joy Beat range will be available in 32-inch to 49-inch screen sizes within a price range of Rs 27,900 to Rs 69,500.
