Samsung Galaxy Note7 6GB RAM variant China launch on August 26
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is one of the first flagship Android smartphone to feature an iris scanner.
Samsung has already confirmed it is planning to launch a variant of Galaxy Note 7 exclusively in China with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone is expected to launch on August 26.
According to reports emerging out of China, Samsung has started sending out media invites for the event scheduled on August 26. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage has already passed China’s certification site Tenaa.
Ealier this month, Samsung mobile division’s president Dongjin Koh had confirmed company’s plans to launch a variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage exclusively in China. In an interview with Korean Times, Dongjin Koh also confirmed Samsung’s plan to introduce smartphones catering to different needs from each marketplace. During the Galaxy Note 7 India launch, Samsung decided not to introduce the Blue Coral variant.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 launching in China will feature the same 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels like its other variants. The display here is protected by Corning’s latest Gorilla Glass 5. The display is curved at both the edges like Galaxy S7 edge.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will launch in China with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is one of the first flagship Android smartphone to feature an iris scanner.
According to Playfuldroid.com, the Galaxy Note 7 launching in China will also feature hybrid SIM/microSD tray with support for up to 2 SIM cards at once.
