The UK missed out on the Galaxy Note 5, meaning we haven’t been able to buy a new S Pen-toting device on this side of the pond for almost two years. But have no fear – the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is here to save the day.

The Galaxy Note 7 comes with a waterproof design, new S Pen features, an Iris scanner on the front, 64GB of storage and a gorgeous 5.7-inch 2K display. So when will you be able to buy one?

Samsung has confirmed that the phone will go on sale on September 2 in the UK, and pre-orders have already started. But what about the networks? We’ve asked each of the networks and retailers in the UK for price and availability details.

  • Samsung

The Galaxy Note 7 will be on sale from September 2 on Samsung’s official website, but Samsung you can pre-order the phone right now. You’ll get your phone three days earlier than others if you pre-order, and you’ll also receive a free Gear VR.

Carphone Warehouse

The UK’s largest high-street phone retailer is stocking the Galaxy Note 7, with pre-orders open now. The phone costs £699 SIM-free, but Carphone Warehouse will throw in a Gear VR for free. Pay monthly deals begin at £59 upfront and £43 a month on a two-year deal from Vodafone with 6GB of data.

Three

You can pre-order the Note 7 on Three now, with 1GB deals beginning at £149 upfront and £35 a month. You’ll get the phone three days earlier than most other retailers, along with a free Gear VR and a £50 Amazon UK gift card.

Vodafone

You can pre-order the Galaxy Note 7 from Vodafone now with a free Gear VR thrown in, and you’ll get the phone on August 28, three days before the official on-sale date. Deals begin at £400 upfront and £37 a month, but if you spend little more each month you’re sure to find a better price.

O2

O2 is stocking the Galaxy Note 7, and will also give you a Gear VR for free if you pre-order. Deals begin at £9.99 upfront and £50 per month, with 1GB of data, but you’re sure to find a better deal through the bubbly network.

EE

EE is stocking the Galaxy Note 7 with pre-orders up and running. The best-selling plan gives you 5GB of data with unlimited minutes and texts for £29.99 upfront and £55.99 each month thereafter. You’ll get three free months of Google Play Music when you pre-order with EE but there’s no sign of a free Gear VR with these deals.

Other retailers

Unlocked Mobiles has opened its pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 7 and it costs £674.98 – the best SIM-free price we’ve seen so far – with stock expected to land on September 2.

Mobiles.co.uk has opened its pre-orders, with an estimated delivery date of September 2.

Mobile Fun has the Galaxy Note 7 up for pre-order already, but it’s a hefty price at £749. It also comes with a free Olixar case, but you won’t get a free Gear VR if you go this route.

GiffGaff will be stocking the Galaxy Note 7 from September 1 with ‘goody bag’ deals starting at £5, but spend £20 a month and you’ll get unlimited calls, texts and data.

Mobile Phones Direct has a placeholder website for the Galaxy Note 7, stating that it will also give away a free Gear VR, but there are no specific deals as yet.
