OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 4.1.0 OTA update based on the latest version of Android Nougat (v7.1.1) for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. The OxygenOS 4.1.0 comes with several improvements and also has the latest March security patch for both the smartphones.

Apart from Android 7.1.1 and the latest Google security patch, the OTA update brings the long screenshots feature to the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. It also comes with some general bug fixes and brings improvement in camera department. New update brings better video stability and function to take pictures of moving objects with blur detection. The update has also improved Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. Both OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T have the similar changelog.

Like always, OnePlus says that the OTA update will be rolling out slowly starting Thursday. The update has started hitting limited number of smartphones for now but we can expect mass rollout in coming days.

To check for the OxygenOS 4.1.0 update on your OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones you can head over to Settings> About Phone> System Update.

To recall, OnePlus rolled out the Android 7.0 update back in January. OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T are third smartphones to receive the March security patch after Pixel and Nexus devices.

The OnePlus 3T and the OnePlus 3 are rated as the best value for money smartphones on 2016. OnePlus has managed to make a permanent spot in the global smartphones market with its fine products, and has acted even better in terms of engagement with its fans. Keeping the updates quick is another move that works in favour of the company and strengthens consumer trust.
