MIKA Is Nokia’s AI Voice Assistant For Telecom Engineers, But What About Smartphone Users Bro?
Good to see Nokia isn’t just focusing on launching smartphones again. In keeping with big data trends and the times we live in, Nokia’s unveiled its very own artificial intelligence powered voice assistant called simply MIKA. And it isn’t meant for consumers — not just yet.

This enables MIKA to help engineers look up quick solutions to telecom-related problems, and Nokia MIKA does that based on AI-driven network experience.
This Nokia MIKA AI voice assistant announcement comes exactly a month before Nokia’s expected to come out swinging at Mobile World Congress, and showcase at least two smartphones (maybe more) –Nokia 6 and Nokia P1.
Yeah, Nokia MIKA’s only available for telecom engineers only right now. But as are all things with AI, they have a way of percolating down into consumer systems sooner rather than later. It’d be very naive of Nokia it wasn’t already thinking along those lines, what with all the current buzz around voice assistants, AI and chatbots in general.
