Just how much data is enough data? Apparently there’s no closure to this question. Different users have different amount of data needs. While some may be looking for a cheap 1 month data plan, some are heavy data users and would want a data plan with longer validity.
After 1GB daily data for 1 month, telecom operators have now joined the 70GB data war. Idea, Jio, Airtel and Vodafone, all of these have rolled out a 70GB data plan recently. Airtel’s Rs 448 plan
Airtel prepaid users can avail the 70GB data plan at Rs 448. The telecom operator offers 70GB data for 70 days along with free and unlimited voice and data benefits, free roaming and free SMS. The plan can be bought at any Airtel store or MyAirtel app.
Airtel recently also rolled out a Rs 198 plan to counter Vodafone’s Rs 199 plan. This is a 28 day’s validity plan with no other benefits but only 1GB daily data. Airtel has another Rs 199 plan which makes more sense than the Rs 198 plan. It offers unlimited calls along with 1GB daily data.
Jio’s Rs 399 plan
Reliance Jio at Rs 399 is giving unlimited voice calls, SMS, free roaming and 1GB data daily for 70 days i.e. 70GB data in total.
Jio also has a triple cashback offer which is available till December 25. Jio offers a cash back of up to Rs 2,599 on recharge of Rs 399 or above. The offer is exclusively for Prime members. There are 3 ways to avail this cashback- via Jio tariff plan recharge, recharge from Jio’s partner wallets and vouchers on shopping from Jio’s e-commerce partners. Jio will give the cashback in the form of vouchers and not hard cash.
Idea’s Rs 449 plan
Idea is offering 70GB data along with unlimited calls, unlimited roaming, 100 SMSes per day for 70 days. Customers can get a cash back of up to 100 per cent if recharge is done through MyIdea app.
Idea recently rolled out Nirvana plans for its postpaid users. The Nirvana plans range from Rs 389 to Rs 2,999. There’s a data carry forward limit of up to 500GB, 100 SMS per day, free international calling, Idea anti-theft, antivirus and damage protection plan for up 12 months, and free subscription of Idea Movies & TV, Idea Music and Idea Games App for 12 months.
Vodafone’s Rs 458 plan
Voda’s 70GB data plan comes at Rs 458. The company also offers unlimited calls, free incoming roaming and 100 SMSes per day. The plan is valid for 70 days.
