The tweet also contains the launch trailer of the game in which a girl can be seen collecting paper cutouts of all the mysterious incidents happening in the surroundings. The trailer further reveals several characters from the book and players are using their smartphones to find those characters and either catch them or fight with them using the smartphone as the wand.
At the time of the launch, the game will be available only in the US and UK, followed by the other regions.
The game is based on the Harry Potter’s magical and muggle world in which due to a calamity in the magical world that has caused Foundables such as magical artefacts, creatures, people and even memories has started to appear in a non-magical world. The players in the game play act as a new recruit of the Statute of Secrecy Task Force and has to team up with witches and wizards from around the globe to find and solve the mystery. Players also need to search and called those Foundables and take them back to the wizarding world.
For those unaware, Niantic already launched the beta program for the game in Australia and New Zealand back in May.
