There is no denying that Apple has taken some inspiration from the Surface Pro 4 for its iPad Pro. The company now has a new ad that lasts no more than 30 seconds, but interestingly grabs your attention as Apple wants users to believe that the iPad Pro is a full fledged computer.

It wasn’t too long ago that Apple’s Tim Cook didn’t really seem enthused by the idea of hybrids. But looks like that won’t be the case anymore. The new ad title reads – iPad Pro – What’s a Computer. The new ad has raised many eyebrows and some are even mocking Apple for making an ad for the Microsoft Surface Pro, and we couldn’t agree more.

The video shows various iPad Pro functions using the Apple Pencil, Smart keyboard, split-view, picture-in-picture video and so on. And at the end, the video reads, “Imagine what your computer could do if your computer was an iPad Pro.”

It was just earlier today that the latest IDC tablet shipment tracking report revealed that the tablet shipments fallen by 12.3 percent year-on-year, accounting to 38.7 million total shipments when compared to 44.1 million seen in Q2 2015. Though Apple is top of the list, it did suffer decline in shipments by 9.2 percent. In our Apple iPad Pro and Microsoft Surface Pro 4 comparison we found that the Pro 4 is the better choice, though not flawless.
